The hallway is the room that gives your home it's first impression. Though it is the space that welcomes people into your home, it is often the room we put the least amount of thought into decorating. Many times the entrance is quite plain with jackets and shoes being the only visible items, but you can break away from this trend by adding a long hallway carpet the length of the floor.
The best advice is to choose a carpet with a nice pattern and a shorter pile - don't forget to measure the height of any doors that open inwards.
