Jute is a long, soft, shiny plant fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. Jute-carpets are very durable and have a higher sound-insulating effect than synthetic carpets. Typical for jute-carpets is that they are organic and can be recycled as they are manufactured entirely from a natural material.
