Mashad carpets are authentic Oriental carpets that are hand-knotted in Iran. These carpets are easy to recognise with their famous medallions surrounded by floral motifs. They are often dominated by red tones, with blue tones in the border. High-quality wool is used, giving a hardwearing carpet, and they are reminiscent of Persian carpets from Keshan.
